Our Restoring the Canvas project builds on community partnerships to address the rapidly growing problem of fly-tipping in the Darent Valley.

The project builds on existing relationships between local authority partners. Using a combination of approaches, we aim to increase the likelihood of offenders being caught and encourage faster reporting and clearance of tipped material.

Clearer advice on how to report and collect photographic evidence will be made available. And a ‘duty of care’ campaign will help to communicate what’s being done to combat fly-tipping and serve as a deterrent to offenders.

  • Project to tackle fly-tipping
  • Empowering communities to report
  • Encourage faster reporting and clearance
