In our Framing the View project we will work with UK Power Networks to relocate 11kV electricity lines underground.
Currently, overhead lines interfere with important views, have a negative impact on landscape character and detract from important sites in the Darent Valley. Working with UK Power Networks, we’ll relocate a number of 11kV electricity lines underground so people can experience the landscape – and connect with it – more directly.
This project will sit alongside other Darent Valley Landscape Partnership Scheme projects to enhance the landscape character, natural world and climate resilience of the Darent Valley.
