There are many opportunities for volunteering across the scheme, from working on archaeological digs to coordinating community events, restoring chalk grassland or working on one of our conservation projects.
You might have specialist skills or just want to get involved, there is a role for everyone. We want to engage as many people as possible so if you would like to be involved, get in touch with our team to find out more.
Here are some current opportunities for you to get involved in:
- Archaeology – help undertake ground truthing as part of our LiDAR project
- Nature conservation – Volunteering at White Hill; a reserve looked after by Butterfly Conservation
- Volunteering with the North West Kent Countryside Partnership
- Volunteer with Kent Wildlife Trust to help look after the Darent Valley’s chalk grassland and other sites
- Join the Woodland Rangers Team to help care for the Enchanted Woodland in Dartford
- Help care for the Quadrangle Forest Garden by joining a Permablitz day
